Mandatory Skills
- 6–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering.
- Strong experience in both functional and automation testing.
- Hands-on expertise with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Strong API testing experience using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent frameworks.
- Experience testing rules-driven, configurable, and conditional logic-based applications.
- Strong understanding of test design techniques, debugging, root-cause analysis, and exploratory testing.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based test execution.
- Ability to design creative test scenarios beyond standard user workflows.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop automation scripts using Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Test configurable applications involving business rules, conditional workflows, and complex user journeys.
- Conduct API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.
- Analyse requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Identify, document, and track defects through closure.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Execute tests across cloud-based and distributed environments.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to improve overall product quality.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to QA standards and best practices.
Optional Skills
- Experience designing or enhancing automation frameworks from scratch.
- Knowledge of performance, accessibility, or security testing.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Prior experience mentoring or technically guiding QA engineers.
